OpenHandoff provides managed call handling services for businesses. Our services include answering inbound calls, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and routing calls according to your specifications.

Your Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your business and call handling requirements
  • Promptly update us of any changes to your business operations that affect call handling
  • Ensure you have the right to use our services for your intended purpose
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to your business and customer communications
  • Pay all fees associated with your service plan when due

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable, uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for any temporary unavailability due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

Payment Terms

Service fees are determined during your onboarding process and are based on your specific needs. Payment terms include:

  • Fees are billed according to your service agreement
  • Payment is due within the terms specified in your invoice
  • Late payments may result in service suspension or termination
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our services are owned by OpenHandoff and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our services without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenHandoff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice according to the terms in your service contract. Upon termination:

  • Your access to our services will be discontinued
  • Outstanding fees remain due and payable
  • We will provide your data according to our data retention policy

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
